Health Ministry
We partner with Carolinas Healthcare System to bring all the available resources of the Faith Community Nurse Program to our members and community.

A Faith Community Nurse is a nurse who focuses on the intentional care of the spirit as well as the promotion of whole health and prevention or minimization of illness, within a faith community.  The Faith Community Nurse role is:

  • Health Educator to church staff, members & community through education programs & health screenings.
  • Health Counselor - Meets individually with members to counsel & recommend care options.
  • Resource Liaison/ Referral Agent - Reference & referral for community resources and assists members with access to the healthcare system.
  • Develops Support Groups
  • Coordinates Volunteers
  • Integrates Spirituality & Health - Provides medical and spiritual support during a healthcare crisis.

Life Support Center
The Life Support Center is a biblical counseling and discipleship ministry of FBC Indian Trail.  Premarital, marriage and individual counseling is available.  Day and evening appointments can be scheduled.  For more information, contact us at 704.575.7394 or

Alzheimer’s Support Group
The Alzheimer’s Support Group meets the second Monday of every month in Room B207.  For more information, contact John Williams at 704.821.1026 or

Griefshare Support Group
The Griefshare Support Group is a 13 week session to help those who have recently lost loved ones find healing.  Our next session will begin in January.  This support group is led by Debbie McQuage and consists of videos, a time of fellowship and discussion.  For more information, contact Debbie McQuage at 704.882.2884.

Addiction Ministry
