LIFE TRACK DISCIPLESHIP

Life Track offers a variety of Bible-study classes that speak to specific areas of spiritual growth and life needs. These courses are designed to prepare us for the challenges that we face in everyday life. We believe the growing disciple needs to be equipped “for every good work.”

Life Track is divided into two terms; Fall and Winter/Spring.

Courses take place Wednesday evenings from 6:15 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Childcare is provided and attendance is open to anyone. It is not necessary to be a member of First Baptist Church in order to attend.

Enrollment is limited by classroom capacity and other factors. Therefore, registering as early as possible is recommended.

Lord, Change My Attitude
by James McDonald (11 Sessions)

This eleven week study offers strong opinions on attitudes. Examples are cited from the Israelites journey out of Egypt, showing how attitudes can affect whether we stay in the wilderness or enjoy the blessings of the Promised Land. The good news is that attitudes are something we can control, and in this study, we will be led out of the attitudes that God hates and into those He honors such as thankful-ness, contentment, love, being full of faith, and submission.

3:16: The Church Experience
by Max Lucado (6 sessions)

John 3:16, one of the most famous verses in the Bible, is a 26-word parade of hope. It begins with God, ends with life, and urges us to do the same. This 6-week study calls to Christians to share their own personal 3:16 story, to spread the hope and love they’ve received through Jesus. Many Christians are intimidated by the idea of witnessing using a scripted presentation or methodical process. But anyone can tell a story, especially their own.
