SECURITY IS FIRST AT FBCIT

Making sure your children are safe while in our care is our first priority. If you are being led to work with children ages infant to eighteen you are expected to be a member of FBCIT, complete an application and sign a release authorizing a background check which must be processed before being placed in any position. At FBCIT, we have installed a computerized check-in system. This system will not allow anyone to pick up your child unless they have the pick up tag. This tag can only be obtained by the parent after they complete the check-in process. There are check-in kiosks located in the entrance ways to the children and preschool areas of the church. This check-in process provides security for your children while you worship at FBCIT.

Age-appropriate, Bible learning experiences are provided for birth-4 years old while their parents attend Sunday School and Worship.

Childcare is provided for newborns through 4 years while parents participate in evening worship.

Preschool choir is provided for 4 & 5 year olds during the evening worship.

We love children here at FBCIT and consider it a privilege to provide loving care and Bible learning experiences for preschoolers.

We teach preschoolers about God and His world through age-appropriate, hands-on activities such as books, puzzles, blocks, pictures, nature, home living, art, toys and music. It is a blessing to help preschoolers learn about Jesus, the church, and people at church.

SPECIAL PRESCHOOL EVENTS

Parent/Child Dedication
Twice a year
We have two parent/child dedication services a year. This is a time of acknowledgement that children are a heritage of the Lord and that parents need the strength and wisdom of the heavenly Father in providing a Christian home.

MOTHERS OF PRESCHOOLERS

Starting September 4th, MOPS will meet every 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from 9:30 – 11:30 in Modular C.

It is $75.00 to register and registration is open now. You can register by emailing Ashley Henderson at aestr888@yahoo.com or calling her at 704-786-1197.

The following is the theme for this year and some info about it.

Adventures in Mothering
In the course of your adventure in mothering, you may not have had time to record all the things you have been learning about yourself. The Mommy Diaries: Finding Yourself in the Daily Adventure will provide reflection, perspective and inspiration to you through the lives of many different women. As you read accounts of how moms just like you have made their way through the adventure of mothering, you will gain insight into your own adventure.

Preschool VBS

As many of you have heard, we will be having Preschool Vacation Bible School ALL summer on Wednesday nights beginning June 4th. Your preschooler is going to have a great time on their adventures to Outrigger Island. Each week will be packed with learning about Jesus, making crafts, singing songs, playing games and enjoying wonderful snacks. Please plan to bring your child/children ages 3 – PreK and any of their friends. This will be a great opportunity to invite your lost friends to bring their children and I promise they will not be disappointed.

This summer we will meet in the Children’s Center from 6:15 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Please register your child if you plan to attend. You can register online here or by calling the church office. When you come in, please check your child in at the kiosks and their room assignment will be on their tag.
