      Faith Factor is a relevant and relational community for Single 36 and up adults to be discipled, encouraged, and equipped to serve God. Faith Factor is about ministering to and enabling Single Adults to grow in their relationship with God. It is also a place where Singles can establish meaningful Christian friendships that will last a lifetime. You will also discover many exciting opportunities for fun and fellowship throughout the year in Faith Factor.

In the House – Singles Fall Gathering Experience

Each Sunday night from September 21st until October 26th, the Singles Ministry at First Baptist Indian Trail is inviting singles to join in on an exciting Bible study series entitled “Creating Relationships that Last a Lifetime”. This series is designed to help singles grow in their relationship with God as well as provide them with a solid Biblical framework for developing positive and uplifting Christian relationships that will last a lifetime. There will also be plenty of time for praise music, some great food, and great fellowship with other singles. The Gathering is each Sunday night is at 6 p.m. in the C Modular. The schedule for food for these nights is below.

September 21- Pot luck supper (The ministry provides the meat and you bring the fixins)
September 28- Coffee/dessert night (The ministry provides the coffee and you bring your favorite dessert)
October 5- Breakout food night (Each Life Group class will bring an international food that night)
October 12- Build Your Own Sundae
October 19-  Bring Your Favorite Appetizer night
October 26- Celebration Dinner (The ministry will provide dinner)

Life Groups

We invite you to join us in our Life Group classes on Sunday mornings. Our Faith Factor groups meet on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. for Bible study on the first floor. Life Group Classes offer weekly/monthly activities and Bible studies. There are four classes to choose from at the 9:30 hour in which you will experience transformational Bible teaching and meet many new friends.

Tuesday Nights

We invite Singles of all ages to join us on Tuesday nights at 7:15 in the Sossamon chapel for a time of powerful worship and life changing Bible study Tuesday night is also a time to fellowship and make new friends. We will not be having our Tuesday night worship time from September 21 through October 26th  while the Sunday night gatherings are being held. We will resume Tuesday nights on November 4th. We look forward to seeing you there.

October 31-November 2- Fall retreat at Fairhaven Ministries (cost is $85 and includes 3 meals)
November- Life Group Fellowships (each Life Group will announce the time for class fellowships this month)

Singles Triple Cord Prayer Movement
Matthew 18:19-20

“Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”

One of the greatest privileges we have as Christians is to pray. We have a special invitation from God to go boldly before the throne of grace with our petitions. The verses above from Matthew 18 remind us that if we can come together in small groups and agree together in a God-centered prayer that God will move. All of the greatest revivals in history have one thing in common. Every one of them started with a prayer movement.

With that in mind, the Singles Ministry of FBCIT is launching a fall prayer emphasis called the Triple Cord Prayer Movement. The prayer emphasis will begin on Sunday, September 7th. We are calling on Singles to gather in groups of three at their convenience and begin to pray and ask God to send His revival fire down upon:

-the Singles Ministry
-our community
-our nation

Please sign up in each Life Group class beginning September 7, 2008 to be part of the Singles Triple Cord Prayer Movement at FBCIT. Real revival may be just a prayer away if you will get involved in seeking God diligently through prayer.
