First Baptist Church of Indian Trail eagerly awaits your first visit to our church. You will find people there who will willingly accept you and encourage you in your worship experience. As a first time guest, we understand that you might have a few questions before you attend so we will try to answer as many of those as we can before you even step foot on the church grounds.

How do I get there?
We are centrally located between Charlotte and Monroe, just a few miles from I-485 and right off of Hwy 74. Click here for directions. You will find there is more than one way to access the church. The main access is from Hwy 74 to Indian Trail-Fairview Rd. There is also an entrance from Younts Road. From either direction, you will find it easy to enter any of the parking lots. Shuttle buses are available at the 9:30 and 11:00 services. The bus will take you right to the Welcome Center or the Children’s and Preschool Building.

How will I find my way around?
Of course we realize the size of our church can be overwhelming at first, that is why you will be welcomed by friendly greeters as soon as you walk in our buildings. If you have children with you, have the bus driver drop you off at our new Children’s and Preschool building. Here you will be introduced to our computerized security check-in system. Someone will then lead you and your child to their Sunday School classroom. If you do not have children with you, have the shuttle bus driver drop you off at the Welcome Center. Greeters are stationed outside the door and inside at the information desks. They are ready and willing to help you find a Life Group for Sunday morning Bible study. To find out more about our Life Groups click here. You will be given a map of our facilities which includes an education directory and we will even walk you to your room. There are many Life Groups to choose from and three worship service times.

How can I become a member?
We invite you to consider becoming a member of First Baptist Church Indian Trail. We accept candidates for membership in the following ways:

• By receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, followed by believer’s baptism and completion of our Discovery Class.
• By transfer of membership and completion of our Discovery Class.
• By statement of faith and completion of our Discovery Class.

What is Discovery Class?
You are invited to Discovery at FBCIT and breakfast is on us! Maybe you have attended worship at FBCIT and you want to know more about us. Is God uniting you to unite with FBCIT as a member? Discovery is a one-session event which is a prerequisite for membership at FBCIT. In Discovery we explain our purpose, vision, and how you can be a part of what God is doing through this ministry.

Discovery is held in room B-205 at 9:30am every second and fourth Sunday of the month from June until September unless otherwise communicated. For more information or to sign up, contact the church office.
