To do that, the FBCIT staff diligently works together to minister to not only the community but to each other.
As a member of our Finance Team, you’ll advance the mission of FBCIT by providing financial and accounting support to the ministries of FBCIT.
~ Perform various accounting duties, as assigned, including accounts payable, payroll, contributions/receivables, fixed assets, and general ledger.
~ Assist the church in fulfilling its mission by actively participating in staff worship and prayer meetings; caring for members of the congregation as opportunities arise; and consistently praying for the church, its ministries, the congregation, and the community.
~ Fully support the Church's Statement of Beliefs listed HERE and the Southern Baptist Convention's Baptist Faith and Message listed HERE.
~ Proficiency in Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
~ Ability to handle information with confidentiality.
~ Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work with people — conveying a positive/professional image.
~ Previous bookkeeping/accounting experience preferred.
~ Accounting degree (Associate or higher) preferred unless offset by commensurate experience.
