Cameron's House of Hope opened in May 2022 to help children affected by substance abuse. The President & CEO, Dr. Mike Whitson, lost his grandson from a drug overdose in May 2020. So that Cameron's death and legacy would not be in vain, Cameron's House of Hope was inaugurated, the first of its kind in our area. Twenty-five percent of kids growing up today are living with at least one substance-abusive parent. Because of this, the children are twice as likely to develop an addictive behavior themselves.
Cameron's House of Hope provides tutoring, counseling, food, clothing, mentoring and play therapy to children who have been impacted. Currently, Cameron's House of Hope cares for 26 children and 12 caregivers in Union County regularly.
Give Hope is a giving campaign formed through the 2022 Mike Whitson Invitational Golf Tournament, which provides a way for those who do not play golf or own a business to participate in this event, by giving directly to a specific need.

Your gift of any amount helps them just be a kid.
Thank you for your generosity.
