What does it mean to be a citizen of the kingdom of Heaven? The Sermon on the Mount 9-session study by Jen Wilkin articulates what the life of a Christ follower should look like, asking us the same questions it posed to its original hearers: How should a disciple relate to sin? To others? To the Law? How does a disciple think, speak and act? Each session will examine the words of Jesus in-depth as He challenges us to think differently about repentance, salvation, and sanctification.

Tuesday Evening Bible Study: We Over Me

Begins September 14, 6:30-8pm

Room B207, Led by Miranda Dyer & Lisa Ashton

It’s easy to get frustrated with the local church—we see people in the pews up close, bother their beauty and blemishes. But, God has a purpose and a plan that He uniquely accomplishes in and through the church, and He wants you to be a part of it. In the opening 3 chapters of Revelation, we find a wake-up call directed toward 7 churches and discover the truth of God’s desire for the church. Each session of this 9-week study by Whitney Capps will challenge your perspective and embrace your part in helping the church fulfill its calling.

Cost of Class: $25 (includes book).
