Each year, the Mike Whitson Invitational chooses a worthy cause to support. With a portion of our 2020 tournament proceeds, we broke ground on Cameron's House of Hope. This year, our prayer is that we can further that mission by getting this onsite ministry completely set up to begin fulfilling its purpose in 2021. Cameron's House of Hope will provide tutoring, counseling, medical care, as well as food and clothing to children who have been impacted by substance abusive parents. Our goal is to eliminate the shame, guilt, and loneliness that often affects children in these situations by guiding them, helping them take better paths, and influencing them to hopefully lead their moms and dads to Christ. We will partner with other local ministries to help identify these children and work together to ensure we do all we can to change their trajectory.
Thank you for your very generous giving.

2018 - Raised $48,634.16!

To Feed Hungry Children in Haiti

Wednesdays | 6pm | Location

Even though we had to postpone our first annual golf tournament a few months due to a hurricane, the Lord still provided! We purchased food with the money raised, and in March of 2019, 700 volunteers of all ages from FBCIT met in the gym and assembled 200,000 meals in 5 days! By the Lord's blessing, we were able to feed 550 children in Haiti 3 meals a day for 1 year!

2019 - Raised $88,072.36!

To Help Prevent Abortion

Wednesdays | 6pm | Location

We set out to purchase one ultra-sound machine to support the efforts of a Charlotte based pregnancy center where expectant mothers recieve encouragement, hope, and learn that there is a better way than abortion.  As God led, He multiplied that money to allow us to purchase 7 machines across the world, donate to our own Union County Crisis Pregnancy Center building fund, and still have a little money left over for missions.

2020 - Raised $79,872.24!

Wednesdays | 6pm | Location

To Support Drug Prevention & Rehabilitation

The tournament may have looked a bit different due to the pandemic but the lives touched and impact made was substantial. As God provided, we were able to send donations to 2 local drug addiction recovery centers and also break ground on Cameron's House of Hope, an on-site ministry launching in 2021, for children of substance abusive parents. The 2020 tournament was in memory of our Senior Pastor's 21 year old grandson, Cameron, who died of a drug overdose in May 2020.
